It gives us great pleasure to announce that Captify have been voted the Number 1 Startup of 2014 by Startups.co.uk.
To qualify for the Startups 100, businesses have to be privately owned and UK-based. With 176 entrepreneurs in this year’s list, ranging from 21 to 66-year-old’s, the list shows that fast-growth companies are emerging all over the UK, with 36 started outside London.
Ian Wallis, Startups.co.uk’s Editorial Director
“Game-changing tech start-ups are all the rage, but don’t be fooled into thinking the best new businesses launching in the UK are not steeped in tradition. So many of the exciting businesses in this list have used technology as an enabler to provide a unique twist on products and services that have existed for decades.”
In a week that also saw Captify named in the Smarta and Santander breakthrough top 50, we’d like to thank all of the employees, agencies and investors, that have led to us being recognised in the industry at large as such an exciting, innovative and progressive company.
Dominic Joseph, Captify’s CEO and co-founder
“We’re delighted to have taken the top spot of this year’s Startups 100 index. To win an accolade like this in such a crowded space, you’ve got to do something different and have the tech and talent to back you up. We’re incredibly proud of the fact that we’ve created an entirely new category in the European digital advertising space with our home-grown Search Retargeting technology stack and that we have nurtured one of the strongest teams in the business. We’d like to thank all of our media planner and buyer clients who have supported us along our journey so far.”
Adam Ludwin, Captify’s CVO and co-founder
“It’s a real honour to have won this award. Captify have grown from just a few people to now having 40 employees in multiple countries. It’s testament to all the staff throughout Captify that keep pushing to break the boundaries of technology and innovation to make the company the continual success that it is today.”
